Last Order Dates by Product Type

Cut-off dates are a guideline and may be affected by courier performance and seasonal demand.

Cut-Off Date Order Type Details
9th December 1–2 Week / 14 Working Day Items Products listed with delivery dates of 1–2 weeks / 14 working days. Please order by this date to allow enough time for dispatch and delivery before Christmas.
11th December Home Accessories Home accessory orders should be placed by this date to help ensure pre-Christmas delivery.
17th December In Stock Lighting In stock lighting orders can be placed up to this date. Orders received after this point may arrive after Christmas.
22nd December Express Delivery Express Express delivery orders can be placed until this date, where express services are available at checkout. Express delivery is subject to courier capacity and may not be available on all products.

Christmas Delivery FAQs

What happens if I order after the cut-off date?

Orders placed after the cut-off dates will be dispatched from 5th January 2025, when our delivery service resumes following the Christmas break.

Can you guarantee delivery before Christmas?

While we aim to dispatch all orders placed before the cut-off dates in time for Christmas, we cannot guarantee delivery. External factors such as courier delays, weather conditions and seasonal demand are outside our control and may impact delivery times.

How will my order be shipped?

All orders are shipped using a tracked courier service. The specific courier may vary depending on the item ordered and the location it is shipped from.

Is express delivery available on all products?

Not all items are eligible for express delivery. Where express delivery is available, the option will be displayed at checkout. The cost for express delivery is £7.50.

Can I choose a specific delivery date?

In most cases, a specific delivery date can be arranged directly with the courier rather than through The Lighting Vault. The best method is to download the DPD (or relevant courier) app once your tracking details are issued, where you can manage delivery preferences, select a delivery day, or make other adjustments.

Do you deliver between Christmas and New Year?

We do not usually dispatch orders between Christmas and New Year. The only exceptions are parcels that have already entered the courier network before our shipping pause. In these cases, the courier will continue to process and deliver your parcel, and you will receive updates directly through your tracking information.

How do I track my order?

Tracking information will be provided once your order has been dispatched. You can then manage your delivery directly with the courier. The best way to do this is by using the courier’s app, where you can view updates, delivery windows and make any necessary changes.
