Welcome to our Winter Sale FAQ. Here you’ll find quick answers to the most common questions about discounts, promo codes, delivery, and returns during our seasonal event.
If you have a question that isn’t answered below, our team are always happy to help.
The Event
How much can I save during the sale?
You can expect up to 30% off selected lighting collections — including pendant lights, wall lights, and designer ceiling fixtures. Discounts are applied already, no code needed.
Can I save even more in the Winter Sale?
Yes — you can!
Save an extra 5% on all orders with code WINTER, or save an extra 10% on orders over £1000 with code WINTER10. Both codes can also be used alongside eligible multi-buy offers for even greater savings.
Just enter the relevant code at checkout once your cart reaches the qualifying amount. These bonus discounts stack automatically on top of sale prices — giving you great savings!
Offers valid during the Winter Sale event only. Cannot be combined with any other discount codes.
Can I use discount codes during the Winter Sale?
Yes — but only our two official Winter Sale codes can be used: WINTER for an extra 5% off all orders, and WINTER10 for 10% off orders over £1000.
These codes can be stacked with eligible multi-buy offers, but no other discount codes can be applied during the sale.
All other promotional codes will be paused during the Winter Sale period.
Are all items included in the Winter Sale?
Yes — our Winter Sale codes (WINTER and WINTER10) can be used on every item across the site, with no exclusions.
This means that whether you’re shopping our newest arrivals or bestsellers, you can still enjoy great value throughout the sale.
Will stock sell out?
Yes — many of our popular designs sell out quickly during the Winter Sale. Stock is limited and discounts apply only while supplies last. We recommend purchasing your favourites early.
Can I contact you during the Winter Sale?
Our Winter Sale is now live, and we’re always happy to help. Please note that due to the exceptionally busy Christmas period, response times may be a little longer than usual.
For product-related questions, live chat is the best way to reach us whenever a team member is online. Emails will continue to be monitored.

Delivery
When will my order be delivered?
Shipping is currently paused until 5th January 2026 due to the Christmas holidays.
Once dispatch resumes, orders will be sent in the order they were received, with dispatched up to 14 working days from 5th January.
We appreciate your patience during our seasonal shutdown.

Is express delivery available?
No — express delivery is unavailable during the Winter Sale due to our Christmas closure period. Standard delivery services remain available, and all orders will be dispatched as quickly as possible once our team returns.
How will I know when my order will arrive?
We ship all orders by tacked courier service and you will be sent tracking information via the courier nce your order has been dispatched.
We use several different couriers to ship our orders - this may vary depending on the item you have ordered.
Returns
Can I return sale order items?
Yes — standard returns apply. You have 14 days from delivery to request to return unused, undamaged items in their original packaging. Please note, return shipping costs are not covered unless the item is faulty or damaged on arrival.
What is your full returns policy?
We are happy to refund or exchange any order placed on our website provided it is within 14 days of receipt. You need to notify us by email via queries@thelightingvault.co.uk to allow us to authorise your return.

Please note we cannot process any return or exchange requests by telephone or through social media.
Can I exchange sale items?
Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer exchanges on sale items, as discounts are only valid during the sale period.
If you’ve changed your mind, you can still request to return your item for a refund within 14 days of delivery, provided it’s unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.
You’re always welcome to place a new order for your preferred item at the current price once your return has been processed.
Trade accounts
Do you offer trade discounts?
We don’t ever offer traditional trade accounts, but we do provide multi-buy discounts for large or bulk lighting orders throughout the year.
However, during our Black Friday event, our sale prices are already the best available — even better than standard bulk-order discounts.
If you’re planning a larger project or need a custom quotation after the sale, our team is happy to discuss volume pricing once the event ends - however the discounts at Black Friday will be higher than at any other time.
Payment Methods
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards - including American Express. You can also pay via Paypal.
Can I spread the cost?
Yes — we offer flexible ways to spread the cost. At checkout you can choose either Klarna or PayPal Pay in 3 to split your payment into interest-free monthly instalments. Simply select your preferred option when completing your order online.
Can I pay over the telephone?
Unfortunatley we only accept payments via the secure checkout on our website.
Payment Using Shop Pay Installments
What is the option to pay in installments on Shop Pay?
When checking out with Shop Pay, you have the option to pay now or later. Paying in installments on Shop Pay allows you to split your purchase amount into equal, installment payments with monthly installments with no hidden or late fees
How Shop Pay Installments work
- Add items to your cart (or shopping bag).
- Check out with Shop Pay.
- Choose the option to pay in installments.
Your first payment is due at checkout. The remaining payments are automatically charged to your card saved on Shop Pay based on the payment plan you chose. Don't worry, you'll get an email reminder before each payment to remind you.
Which payment methods are accepted if I use the option to pay in installments on Shop Pay?
Debit cards are accepted as a payment method for Shop Pay Installments orders in all countries. In some countries, credit cards might also be an available payment method for certain Shop Pay Installments orders.

Light bulbs
Do your lights include light bulbs?
Most of our lights will NOT include light bulbs as standard. This can be different on each product as some lights have built in (integrated) LED lights.
If the light does not include light bulbs we have a drop down option on each product where you can add a full set of Premium LED light bulbs for your chosen light.
What light bulbs do you include?
If you chose to add on the light bulbs to the light you are purchasing, we will include a FULL SET of our PREMIUM, LED DIMMABLE light bulbs with your order. These will be shipped with your order so you can enjoy your new light straight away!
Can you provide a VAT invoice?
How can I get a VAT invoice for my purchase?
We can provide a VAT invoice for all orders if required. Please request this by emaillingqueries@thelightingvault.co.uk
Product Measurements
Does the minimum light height include the light?
Yes - the minimum stated drop of a light will include all of the light and is measured from the ceiling to the lowest point.

Yes - the maximum stated drop of a light will include all of the light and is measured from the ceiling to the lowest point.
Replacement Parts
Are lighting spare parts available?
In most cases we can provide replacement parts for our lights if they are needed.
Please note we are only able to offer spare / replacement parts for lights which have been purchased from ourselves.
