Our Black Friday event is the highlight of the year — offering exceptional savings across our designer lighting collections.
This FAQ section covers everything you need to know, including sale details, delivery timeframes, returns, and how to make the most of your order.

The Event
When is the Black Friday Sale?
Our Black Friday event begins at 7pm on Thursday 27th November, and runs through Cyber Monday, 2nd December.
How much can I save during the sale?
You can expect up to 60% off selected lighting collections — including pendant lights, wall lights, and designer ceiling fixtures. Discounts are applied already, no code needed.
Can I save even more during Black Friday?
Yes! You can enjoy extra savings on top of our Black Friday discounts:
- Spend £750 or more: Save an extra 5% with code BFEXTRA5
- Spend £1,500 or more: Save an extra 10% with code BFEXTRA10
Just enter the relevant code at checkout once your cart reaches the qualifying amount. These bonus discounts stack automatically on top of sale prices — giving you the best possible deal during Black Friday.
Offer valid during the Black Friday event only. Cannot be combined with any other discount codes.
Can I use discount codes during the Black Friday sale?
During our Black Friday event, no other discount codes can be used alongside sale prices.
This includes loyalty, welcome, or multi-buy discount codes.
The only codes that can be applied are our exclusive extra-off Black Friday offers:
- Spend £750+ → 5% extra off with code BFEXTRA5
- Spend £1,500+ → 10% extra off with code BFEXTRA10
These are the only valid codes during the sale and are designed to give you the best combined savings.
All other promotional or multi-buy codes will be paused during the Black Friday period.
Are all items included in the sale?
Yes — almost everything across our collection is included in the Black Friday event. Even if some products don’t show a visible markdown, you can still unlock extra savings with our exclusive Black Friday codes:

This means that whether you’re shopping our newest arrivals or bestsellers, you can still enjoy great value throughout the sale.
Will stock sell out?
Yes — many of our popular designs sell out quickly during Black Friday. Stock is limited and discounts apply only while supplies last. We recommend purchasing your favourites early.

Our team is always happy to help, but please note that response times may be longer than usual during the Black Friday weekend due to high volumes of enquiries.

Is express delivery available?
Express delivery is available on lots of our products. If this is available on the product you are interested in the EXPRESS SHIPPING option will be available at checkout.
Unfortunatley Express Shipping is not available on all products and is subject to availability.

When will my order be delivered?
Due to high demand during our Black Friday event, we’ve temporarily extended dispatch times to up to 14 working days. This is the maximum timeframe, and most orders will be shipped much sooner.
Some products are also eligible for Express Delivery (1–3 working days) for an additional £7.50.
If express shipping is available for your order, it will appear as an option during checkout.
We always do our best to ensure your order arrives as quickly as possible — even during our busiest time of year.
How will I know when my order will arrive?
We ship all orders by tacked courier service and you will be sent tracking information via the courier nce your order has been dispatched.
We use several different couriers to ship our orders - this may vary depending on the item you have ordered.
Returns
Can I return Black Friday items?
Yes — standard returns apply. You have 14 days from delivery to request to return unused, undamaged items in their original packaging. Please note, return shipping costs are not covered unless the item is faulty or damaged on arrival.
What is your full returns policy?
We are happy to refund or exchange any order placed on our website provided it is within 14 days of receipt. You need to notify us by email via queries@thelightingvault.co.uk to allow us to authorise your return.

Please note we cannot process any return or exchange requests by telephone or through social media.
Can I exchange Black Friday sale items?
Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer exchanges on Black Friday sale items, as discounts are only valid during the sale period.
If you’ve changed your mind, you can still request to return your item for a refund within 14 days of delivery, provided it’s unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.
You’re always welcome to place a new order for your preferred item at the current price once your return has been processed.
Trade accounts
Do you offer trade discounts?
We don’t ever offer traditional trade accounts, but we do provide multi-buy discounts for large or bulk lighting orders throughout the year.
However, during our Black Friday event, our sale prices are already the best available — even better than standard bulk-order discounts.
If you’re planning a larger project or need a custom quotation after the sale, our team is happy to discuss volume pricing once the event ends - however the discounts at Black Friday will be higher than at any other time.
End of Sale & Future Offers
Will there be more discounts after Cyber Monday?
No — Black Friday and Cyber Monday are our biggest and only sitewide events of the year. Once the sale ends, all prices will return to our standard retail levels.
We don’t run ongoing discount codes or flash sales, so this is the best time to secure our designer lighting at the lowest prices.
If you’ve had your eye on something special, we recommend ordering during the event to make the most of the savings — especially while stock lasts.
After Cyber Monday, our regular multi-buy and bulk order discounts will resume, but they won’t match the value of our Black Friday pricing.
Payment Methods
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards - including American Express. You can also pay via Paypal.
Can I spread the cost?
Yes — we offer flexible ways to spread the cost. At checkout you can choose either Klarna or PayPal Pay in 3 to split your payment into interest-free monthly instalments. Simply select your preferred option when completing your order online.
Can I pay over the telephone?
Unfortunatley we only accept payments via the secure checkout on our website.
Payment Using Shop Pay Installments
What is the option to pay in installments on Shop Pay?
When checking out with Shop Pay, you have the option to pay now or later. Paying in installments on Shop Pay allows you to split your purchase amount into equal, installment payments with monthly installments with no hidden or late fees
How Shop Pay Installments work
- Add items to your cart (or shopping bag).
- Check out with Shop Pay.
- Choose the option to pay in installments.
Your first payment is due at checkout. The remaining payments are automatically charged to your card saved on Shop Pay based on the payment plan you chose. Don't worry, you'll get an email reminder before each payment to remind you.
Which payment methods are accepted if I use the option to pay in installments on Shop Pay?
Debit cards are accepted as a payment method for Shop Pay Installments orders in all countries. In some countries, credit cards might also be an available payment method for certain Shop Pay Installments orders.

Light bulbs
Do your lights include light bulbs?
Most of our lights will NOT include light bulbs as standard. This can be different on each product as some lights have built in (integrated) LED lights.
If the light does not include light bulbs we have a drop down option on each product where you can add a full set of Premium LED light bulbs for your chosen light.
What light bulbs do you include?
If you chose to add on the light bulbs to the light you are purchasing, we will include a FULL SET of our PREMIUM, LED DIMMABLE light bulbs with your order. These will be shipped with your order so you can enjoy your new light straight away!
Can you provide a VAT invoice?
How can I get a VAT invoice for my purchase?
We can provide a VAT invoice for all orders if required. Please request this by emaillingqueries@thelightingvault.co.uk
Product Measurements
Does the minimum light height include the light?
Yes - the minimum stated drop of a light will include all of the light and is measured from the ceiling to the lowest point.

Yes - the maximum stated drop of a light will include all of the light and is measured from the ceiling to the lowest point.
Replacement Parts
Are lighting spare parts available?
In most cases we can provide replacement parts for our lights if they are needed.
Please note we are only able to offer spare / replacement parts for lights which have been purchased from ourselves.
