Our Boxing Day Sale event is the final sale of the year — offering exceptional savings across our designer lighting collections.

This FAQ section covers everything you need to know, including sale details, delivery timeframes, returns, and how to make the most of your order.

If you have a question that isn’t answered below, our team are always happy to help.

The Event

When is the Boxing Day Sale?

Our Boxing Day Sale event begins at 9am on Christmas Eve Wednesday 24th December, and runs through to Midnight Boxing Day 26th December.

How much can I save during the sale?

You can expect up to 50% off selected lighting collections — including pendant lights, wall lights, and designer ceiling fixtures. Discounts are applied already, no code needed.

Can I save even more in the Boxing Day Sale?

Absolutely! Once your basket reaches £1000, an extra 10% discount will be added automatically at checkout — on top of all existing Boxing Day reductions.

Offer valid during the Boxing Day Sale event only. Cannot be combined with any other discount.

Can I use discount codes during the Boxing Day sale?

All discounts are already applied for you, so additional discount codes can’t be used during the event.

If your order is over £1000, the extra 10% off will also be added automatically.

All other promotional or multi-buy codes will be paused during the Boxing Day Sale period.

Are all items included in the sale?

Yes — every single item on our website is included in the Boxing Day Sale. There are no exclusions, no hidden exceptions, and no limited categories. If it’s on our site, it’s part of the event. Enjoy!

Will stock sell out?

Yes — many of our popular designs sell out quickly during Boxing Day. Stock is limited and discounts apply only while supplies last. We recommend purchasing your favourites early.

How can I contact you during The Boxing Day Sale?

Our team will be working on a reduced holiday schedule between 24 December and 5 January, so response times may be slower than usual. Live chat will be available for most of the sale period, but not at all hours.

How much is delivery?

UK Mainland Delivery

Orders over £99: FREE

Orders under £99: £6.95

Express Delivery

£7.95subject to availability

Pallet Delivery (Salzburg Large Square Flush Lights)

These items are large and pre-assembled, so they are delivered using a secure pallet service.

Orders under £1000: £35

Orders over £1000: FREE

Is express delivery available?

Unfortunately, all delivery services — including express — are paused over the holiday period.

Due to courier closures and irregular collection schedules, we are unable to dispatch orders until 5th January. Standard delivery will resume once courier operations return to full capacity.

In the meantime, you can still place orders as normal, and your dispatch date will begin from 5th January onward.

When will my order be delivered?

All orders placed during the Boxing Day Sale will begin dispatching from 5th January, once courier services resume normal operations.

We aim to dispatch all orders within 14 working days from this date.

We always do our best to ensure your order arrives as quickly as possible — even during our busiest time of year.

How will I know when my order will arrive?

We ship all orders by tacked courier service and you will be sent tracking information via the courier once your order has been dispatched.


We use several different couriers to ship our orders - this may vary depending on the item you have ordered.

Returns

Can I return Boxing Day Sale items?

Yes — standard returns apply. You have 14 days from delivery to request to return unused, undamaged items in their original packaging. Please note, return shipping costs are not covered unless the item is faulty or damaged on arrival.

What is your full returns policy?

We are happy to refund or exchange any order placed on our website provided it is within 14 days of receipt. You need to notify us by email via queries@thelightingvault.co.uk to allow us to authorise your return.

Please note we cannot process any return or exchange requests by telephone or through social media.

Can I exchange Boxing Day Sale items?

Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer exchanges on Boxing Day Sale items, as discounts are only valid during the sale period.

If you’ve changed your mind, you can still request to return your item for a refund within 14 days of delivery, provided it’s unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.

You’re always welcome to place a new order for your preferred item at the current price once your return has been processed.

Trade accounts

Do you offer trade discounts?

We don’t ever offer traditional trade accounts, but we do provide multi-buy discounts for large or bulk lighting orders throughout the year.

However, during our Black Friday event, our sale prices are already the best available — even better than standard bulk-order discounts.

If you’re planning a larger project or need a custom quotation after the sale, our team is happy to discuss volume pricing once the event ends - however the discounts at Black Friday will be higher than at any other time.

Payment Methods

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards - including American Express. You can also pay via Paypal.

Can I spread the cost?

Yes — we offer flexible ways to spread the cost. At checkout you can choose either Klarna or PayPal Pay in 3 to split your payment into interest-free monthly instalments. Simply select your preferred option when completing your order online.

Can I pay over the telephone?

Unfortunatley we only accept payments via the secure checkout on our website.

Payment Using Shop Pay Installments

What is the option to pay in installments on Shop Pay?

When checking out with Shop Pay, you have the option to pay now or later. Paying in installments on Shop Pay allows you to split your purchase amount into equal, installment payments with monthly installments with no hidden or late fees

How Shop Pay Installments work
  1. Add items to your cart (or shopping bag).
  2. Check out with Shop Pay.
  3. Choose the option to pay in installments.

Your first payment is due at checkout. The remaining payments are automatically charged to your card saved on Shop Pay based on the payment plan you chose. Don't worry, you'll get an email reminder before each payment to remind you. 

Which payment methods are accepted if I use the option to pay in installments on Shop Pay?

Debit cards are accepted as a payment method for Shop Pay Installments orders in all countries. In some countries, credit cards might also be an available payment method for certain Shop Pay Installments orders.

Light bulbs

Do your lights include light bulbs?

Most of our lights will NOT include light bulbs as standard. This can be different on each product as some lights have built in (integrated) LED lights.

If the light does not include light bulbs we have a drop down option on each product where you can add a full set of Premium LED light bulbs for your chosen light.

What light bulbs do you include?

If you chose to add on the light bulbs to the light you are purchasing, we will include a FULL SET of our PREMIUM, LED DIMMABLE light bulbs with your order. These will be shipped with your order so you can enjoy your new light straight away!

Can you provide a VAT invoice?

How can I get a VAT invoice for my purchase?

We can provide a VAT invoice for all orders if required. Please request this by emaillingqueries@thelightingvault.co.uk

Product Measurements

Does the minimum light height include the light?

Yes - the minimum stated drop of a light will include all of the light and is measured from the ceiling to the lowest point.

Does the maximum light height include the light?

Yes - the maximum stated drop of a light will include all of the light and is measured from the ceiling to the lowest point.

Replacement Parts

Are lighting spare parts available?

In most cases we can provide replacement parts for our lights if they are needed.

Please note we are only able to offer spare / replacement parts for lights which have been purchased from ourselves.
